MaryClare was raised in the Great Lake state of Michigan where she earned a degree in Geology at Michigan Technological University. She learned to sail at a young age and worked on corporate yachts to fund her college education. She then moved to the west coast and worked as a geologist, program manager and policy consultant to the U.S. Government and Navy in the environmental engineering sector. As a geologist she traveled frequently from Washington D.C. to Alaska to California and parts between. After starting a family she focused on environmental policy to keep her feet on the ground. While raising her son and daughter she also led personal construction and development projects for rental investments.
After work you will find MaryClare either with her people, hiking the hills or cruising local roads on her bike. She enjoys starting each day with yoga before coffee.
