The professional Fiduciaries that work with Profiducia take their roles as your trusted family partner very seriously. They appreciate and respect the trust that you have put in them, and work hard to continuously earn and re-earn that trust, every day.
What is a fiduciary?
A fiduciary is someone entrusted to manage items of value for someone else. Examples include bankers, investment managers, executors, family members and daily money managers.
What does it mean to be a chartered trust company?
As a non-depository chartered trust company in Washington State, Trust Profiducia Inc. (TPI) is licensed by the state to provide fiduciary services—things like managing trusts, administering estates, and overseeing investment accounts—but it doesn’t operate like a bank. TPI does not accept deposits, offer checking or savings accounts, or make loans like a traditional bank.
What this means in practice is that the company can serve in roles such as trustee, executor, conservator, or custodian of assets. It can manage trusts, administer estates, oversee investment accounts, and handle other fiduciary responsibilities. TPI’s role is to ensure assets are handled properly, in accordance with trust documents, wills, or other legal instruments, while always acting in the best interest of the beneficiaries.
Trust Profiducia Inc. is regulated by the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI), specifically under Title 30B of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW). TPI is required to meet certain capital, bonding, and operational standards, with the regulatory focus on ensuring accountability and client protection. The DFI performs regular audits of TPI’s activities and requires that an independent audit is also performed on a yearly basis.
What is financial advocacy?
Financial advocacy is the application of daily money management services for people who need assistance due to their personal circumstances.
What is daily money management?
Daily Money Management is the professional service of personal bookkeeping and record keeping, which can include bill paying, preparation of tax forms, balancing checkbooks, banking, deciphering medical bills, negotiating with creditors, overseeing domestic payrolls, advocating and – always – acting in a fiduciary capacity.
What naming conventions should be used when completing my estate planning documents?
Personal Representative of your Estate:
TRUST PROFIDUCIA INC., a Chartered Trust Company with the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, and its successors and assignees, is appointed Personal Representative.
Trustee:
TRUST PROFIDUCIA INC, a Chartered Trust Company with the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, and its successors and assignees, is appointed Trustee.
Agent under Durable Power of Attorney for Financial Matters:
I hereby appoint TRUST PROFIDUCIA INC., a Chartered Trust Company with the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, and its successors and assignees, to serve as my attorney-in-fact (herein referred to as my “Agent”) and grant them the authority to act in my place in accordance with the authority and responsibilities described below.
What is the difference between an executor and a personal representative?
Not much. Executor and Executrix are the male and female labels for the persons with the fiduciary responsibility of bringing someone else’s estate to closure. Personal Representative (“PR”) is the gender-neutral label of the same responsible person.
Are you lawyers, investment managers, or CPA’s?
None of the above. However, we work closely with those professionals for the benefit of clients. If you think of your lawyer, CPA, and wealth manager as your architects, then your Fiduciary is your general contractor. Bonus: Our Fiduciaries are neutral – they have no emotional stake in your needs, allowing them to be very impartial and act only on your behalf.

What is your succession plan?
There is a reason why we did not name this firm after the owners. We know that our clients are counting on us to be here for them long into the future. People move on, but a business can continue with new owners. Profiducia continuously chooses the best options for the ongoing contentment of its clients and those who advise them.
